This scholarship aims to nurture the next generation of community nursing leaders. It is offered in partnership with the public healthcare institutions and community care providers, to develop community nursing leaders. They will play a central role in providing care beyond the hospital into the community to better meet the needs of the population. They will plan, provide and coordinate services that enable patients to receive care at home and in the community.
Offered to recent O-level, A-Level, Diploma or equivalent qualification (e.g. International Baccalaureate (IB) or NUS high school diploma) graduates.
Offered to students currently pursuing a Diploma in Nursing at a local polytechnic, or a Degree in Nursing at Alice Lee Centre for Nursing under
National University of Singapore.
Offered to third-year Nursing diploma students, recent Diploma in Nursing graduates or existing nurses who are keen to pursue a degree conversion course at Singapore Institute of Technology or MOHH-approved overseas universities.
Same as Full-Term Community Nursing Scholarship.
Applications are opened annually from September to March the following year. Interviews will be conducted from January to June each year.
